Project Phases:

4. Water Service Connection Contract (customer pays tap fee)
5. Construction Bid
6. Construction of Water Main
7. Service Tap Installation

Prior to bidding the project, customers on each street will receive a letter with a Water Service Connection Contract that should be returned, including payment of the fee to tap the future water main, to help keep the project moving forward.

Projects will be prioritized by those having the highest density (households per mile) with sufficient number of signed Water Service Connection Contracts. Using this list, the actual project to be bid and constructed will be based on available funding.

Once the water main is installed, NKWD will send a letter informing all customers the water main is ready for connection. Each customer will then disconnect from the cistern or well and connect to the water line and complete the Application for Water Service to begin receiving public water.
