Reflecting on her marriage, Anushka shares, “I’m married to my best friend. I’m married to my confidant. Addressing the common perception of Virat’s on-field aggression, Anushka clarifies, “He’s one of the calmest persons I’ve met. Off the field, he’s so relaxed... He’s the most shaant person I know. I look at him and I’m like, ‘Wow! You’re so chill.’”

The couple’s hectic schedules often mean limited time together. Anushka recounts, “During the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 or 22 days together... We were hardly together in Mumbai. In fact, the staff at home gets so happy whenever they see us together at home.”

Despite the challenges, they prioritise each other’s careers. “I’m never going to be like, ‘Oh please spend more time with me at the cost of your work’. No, please do your work. He’s the same with me,” Anushka explains, highlighting the mutual respect that forms the foundation of their relationship.

After a brief hiatus, Anushka is set to make a powerful comeback with PK 2 and Sultan 2, both of which are sequels to box office hits. PK 2 is a potential sequel with Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, while Sultan 2 is a sequel starring Salman Khan.
